Svetoslav Roerich


He was born in October 1904 in St. Petersburg.Roerich studied architecture in England in 1919 and joined Columbia University's school of architecture in 1920. After moving to India, he directed the Art School in Bangalore, where he also held his personal exhibitions. Roerich was awarded the International Award and the Padma Bhushan.On Jaunary 30, 1993, Svetoslav Roerich passed away in Bangalore, Karnataka in India.
