G Ravinder Reddy was born in Andhra Pradesh, 1956. He did his BFA and MFA in sculpture from M.S. University, Baroda, in 1975-82. Received a Diploma in Sculpture from the Goldsmith College of Art, 1983 and also pursued a course in Ceramics from the Royal college of Art, London in 1984. Selected Solo exhibitions include: ‘Grosvenor Vadehra, London, 2008; ‘Ravinder Reddy: Select Sculpture’, Bose Pacia Gallery, New York, 2007 and ‘Incredible India’, Le Jardin d’Acclimatoin, Paris, France, 2007. Few of his recent group shows are: 2011 'Paris-Delhi-Bombay', Centre Pompidou, Paris, ‘Monumental’, Walsh Gallery, Chicago, 2010-11; 2009 3rd Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, Moscow.

The artist currently lives and works in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
