Tyeb Mehta was born in 1925 and passed away in 2009. He had a Diploma in Painting from Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai. His international participations include: Armory Show (2009), New York presented by Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi and the First Triennale (1968), India; National Exhibition (1965), New Delhi.
