Acting as a place of convergence Cona works with the contribution and involvement of every visiting participant, building a digital archive available to all including the local community within the area. The initiative encourages volunteers to share data, footage, audio, videos, etc. to create an on-going mindspace to kindle ideas and conversations, stimulating both thought and action.

Cona hosts exhibitions, residencies, talks, discussion, screenings and events, playing its part as a resource centre for the arts. It identifies itself as a catalyst in the continuous stream of creativity shunning any label which goes on to simplify it as an alternative visual arts space or a project space instead choosing to focus on bringing creativity out of what is seen as routine and mundane.
